The Mario Washington Bio


'The' Mario Washington began his radio career as host of The Royal Palace in 1998 at Winthrop's WINR. After generating a buzz with the show, Washington co-founded Royal Fam Entertainment Group, a multimedia organization that helped promote, film, and produce Winthrop events.

Upon graduating from Winthrop, Washington moved into commercial radio and now serves as a Program Director for a group of radio stations. In 2008, he was honored by the South Carolina Broadcasters Association with the 2008 Sportscaster of the Year Award of Merit.

Washington's quick wit and alley-oops makes him the point guard of The Good Ole Boys Radio Show.


Q Kittles Bio

Quentin 'Q Kittles' Gore began his radio career in 1999 as a part of Royal Fam Entertainment Group's programming on WINR at Winthrop University. Gore was the CEO of Royal Fam Entertainment Group during his time at the University. He hosted "The Lab", a show that aired on Thursday night's for the final 2 years of his stay in Rock Hill. The show featured hip hop and neo-soul music of the late 90's and early 2000's. It also featured freestyle sessions from local hip hop artists in the Charlotte Metropolitan area. Gore also writes and performs poetry.

Gore joined the Good Ole Boys Radio Show in March of 2009 after nearly 10 years away from radio. Gore brings his baritone voice and unequaled energy to the 4 man group each week, along with his unique view of the world.


Black Trump Bio

For nearly 10 years, LeTroy 'Black Trump' Gardner aka The Sex Symbol of the Millennium has been captivating listeners. This Beaufort, SC native's journey into radio began as a freshman at Winthrop University in 2000.

His desire to become a radio personality led him to become a weekly of The Royal Palace. Never one to squander opportunities, Gardner eventually hosted several shows for Winthrop's WINR-FM. While hosting The Dungeon and Bedroom, Gardner lent his silky smooth voice and musical knowledge to listeners. During his final semester at Winthrop, Gardner was putting together a cd compilation of TV theme songs when the idea for Good Ole Boys came about.

Gardner delivers a perfect blend of unpredictable storytelling, quick wit and a tireless work ethic to the equation.


Gran W.I.Z. Bio

Wafeeq 'Gran Wiz' Zarif brings comic relief to The Good Ole Boys Radio Show. He began his radio career in 2000 at Winthrop's WINR as host of The Disputed Truth. Zarif fostered his journalistic talent as a writer for The State newspaper in South Carolina, the News & Observer in North Carolina, and a New York Times affiliate, along with Black College Wire.

Zarif co-hosts The Good Ole Boys, and performs comedic routines featuring his story telling abilities at Comedy Worx, an improv comedy club located at 431 W. Peace St, Raleigh, NC. Zarif writes skits that are produced and aired on The Good Ole Boys weekly. His unabashed style offers him the ability to raise eyebrows with his many different opinions about relationships and religion.
